Good Morning (Australian Time Zone)
I have a client that has a reception phone (Cisco SPA504G) which is configured with 4 lines. Those 4 lines are apart of a Queue. They use these lines to monitor additional calls and can put them on-hold as they don't want them sitting in queue unanswered. This feature is working as expected, but they now have an additional request.
They wish to have the ability to pick-up any of the calls that are on-hold from a different handset. I can setup BLF for each of the lines, but call-pick-up doesn't work as I expected.
Apart from using Parked calls, is it possible using a feature code to take the call from the original handset?
Thanks
Simon
If I use parking is it
If I use parking is it possible to use BLF so users can see which line the call is parked?
yes, the hints for 701 - 704
yes, the hints for 701 - 704 are already in the dialplan, you just need to BLF monitor them with the device.
its called parking, not hold. you park a call and pick it up at another extension. Hold is just for your own extension, your device still retains control. Just use a speed dial to transfer to the park extension.
