Thirdlane Connect Requests

I've recently updated a client's box and introduced them to Thirdlane Connect. They were familiar with the old User Portal but rarely used it. They noticed some of the following items missing from Thirdlane Connect and requested they be added to it so they don't have to switch between the User Portal and Thirdlane Connect:

Ability to change web portal password inside Thirdlane Connect.
Please add Call Screening options to Thirdlane Connect.
For managing voicemail, it would nice if you click on all or many voicemails and then hit Delete.
Once you delete a voicemail, it still appears in the list until you log back in.

This post has a really good title for Thirdlane Connect feature requests so we do not need a separate forum :).

Kevin - all these make sense, we'll put them on our list.

Operator Panel -
Ability to Hide Tabs -
Hide Ability to Turn on record calls -
Basically everything you could hide on the old portal -
Re-order tabs -
Fax number history -

I should also say the connect app is awesome!

When you make a call from the mobile Connect App (this hides your cellular number), can you have the call go over the cellular voice network, as opposed to using 4G/wifi?

A lot of apps utilise a callback method.

We do this in Thirdlane Mobile Dialer. I guess callback could be an option in Thirdlane Connect. Where do you see the advantage?

We would love to - as long as you don't mind maintaining the translation for the future releases. How can we send you the files for translation?

These are the features I'd love to see that we've been asked for:

Chat history (even if stored locally)
Automatic presence (Mark as busy if idle for more than x minutes / busy if on phone)
Contacts list pre-populated with all Connect Users

remove connect app links back to thirdlane page
- figure out if TL wants to be white-label or wants our end-users finding their way back to the TL page.
one of the big reasons we stopped using our last pbx.
