Inbound route schedule

Hello, I have a few questions about Inbound Route Schedules.

The script we'd like to use is below, but I'm not sure I understand the arguments. Can anyone shed some light on this?

[Reg-Daytime-NaTel]
friendlyname=Regular-Work-Hours-9-5--MF
description
Regular-Work-Hours-9-to-5--M-to-F
args=1,*,*,*,*,mon,mon,9,16,00,59:2,*,*,*,*,tue,tue,9,16,00,59:3,*,*,*,*,wed,wed,9,16,00,59:4,*,*,*,*,thu,thu,9,16,00,59:5,*,*,*,*,fri,fri,9,16,00,59

Also, I don't see any additional options on the ThirdLane GUI to determine what happens to the calls when it's outside the timeframe.

Any help is appreciated!

(Using MTE 6.0.1.81)

more explanation, Im not sure I understand exactly what your asking. If your asking what happens if you set only 1 schedule and the time doesnt fit into that schedule, what happens; the answer is the call will fail.

I just don't understand the arguments that determine the time:

args=1,*,*,*,*,mon,mon,9,16,00,59:2,*,*,*,*,tue,tue,9,16,00,59:3,*,*,*,*,wed,wed,9,16,00,59:4,*,*,*,*,thu,thu,9,16,00,59:5,*,*,*,*,fri,fri,9,16,00,59

Based on your answer to the other question, it looks like we're going about this the wrong way, so it's probably a moot point. We would like to have separate Auto Attendants based on the time - ie, different messages for after-hours calls. I figured it would be set in the schedule in the inbound route, any advice?

what i do is create two schedules... one is technically already made.

1 schedule would be something like mon-fri 8:00 - 16:59 with * on the other options and call that schedule open-office

the other schedule is the all-hours schedule

so then on my inbound route I have two handlers.. first handler is my open-office schedule which goes to the daytime ivr, the 2nd handler uses the all-hours schedule and goes to the night-time ivr.
