Is there any plans to put a soft phone directly in Connect instead of just controlling an extension?

Can you point me to the call mode settings? Can't seem to find it.
Would this also allow someone to dial from the Android application? Right now when we dial from the Android application it just dials the desk phone for you. Not very useful if you are on the road.

When you are editing the user, click on the phone tab, choose 'WebRTC' as the selected Device Type

Upcoming release of Thirdlane Connect will have much improved management/selection of devices - speaker, earpiece, cameras, etc
It already has the ability to be soft phone you just have to change the call mode settings
