Connect and Soft phone

Is there any plans to put a soft phone directly in Connect instead of just controlling an extension?

Can you point me to the call mode settings? Can't seem to find it.

Would this also allow someone to dial from the Android application? Right now when we dial from the Android application it just dials the desk phone for you. Not very useful if you are on the road.

This can be done by the user inside of Connect application, there are Settings -> Call mode settings, users are able to toggle mode.

just keep in mind that when you flip it back to sip, you will need to restart the phone so it re-registers. Otherwise it will be offline until the next registration.

I got it working but it is stuck on speaker phone on a Samsung s6, it will not let me select the ear piece. Is this the phone or the connect limitation?

Upcoming release of Thirdlane Connect will have much improved management/selection of devices - speaker, earpiece, cameras, etc
