Authentication Providers

As an alternative to logging into Thirdlane Connect using their web username and password, users can authenticate and login using social and business networks and applications credentials.

Currently, Thirdlane Connect supports Google and Microsoft, more providers will be added in the future.

To allow Thirdlane Connect users to authenticate and log in via a particular Authentification Provider, you have to register your installation with this Provider, obtain Client ID and Client Secret and save them for use in Thirdlane Connect. Note that by authenticating using Google or Microsoft, users also get access to their contacts.

The steps required for registering and obtaining the required information are available from both Google and Microsoft.
